At Orono, Madi Higgins scored on a direct corner shot off of an insert from Sam Ballesteros with time expired in the first half for the game’s only goal to give the Crusaders the victory.
Orono had 10 shots on goal, and John Bapst goalie Karen Noble had 9 saves. John Bapst had 5 shots on goal and Orono’s Maiah Cyr had 4 saves.
John Bapst is now 3-3 and Orono is 1-5.
