From Mary Bird:
Orono High School’s award-winning drama program will present “The Revenger’s Tragedy” on Thursday, March 5, 7:00p.m. in the OHS/OMS cafe. This one-act play dates from the early 17th century and deals with the perpetual themes of love, desire, jealousy, and, of course, revenge. It was written by Shakespeare contemporary Thomas Middleton; additional material for this production has been written by OHS student Tom Boss and director Christopher Luthin.
Ticket prices are $3 for students and seniors, $5 for all others. Earnings from admissions and refreshment sales support the OHS drama program. Following Thursday’s performance, the students will take their production to Class B regional competition in Maine’s Drama Festival, performing at noon on Saturday at Brewer Community School.
