You cast the votes at Saturday’s Dancing like the Stars — Project Graduation Fundraiser
Kailey Schmidt is a Whitewater Open Canoe Downriver National Champion and a C1 wildwater paddler. She has competed at the US National Wildwater Team Trials and is currently training to make the US Team. She will be attending college in the fall and plans on studying wildlife ecology. Aside from ballet when she was younger, this will be her first major dance performance.
Zimra Winters is a senior at Orono High School and is very involved in student activities. He spends his time in theater, both at OHS and at the Orono Community Theater, participates in cross country and track and field, and volunteers for both the Orono Rec Center and Eastern Maine Medical Center. Zimra will be going to college in the fall to study computer science, where he plans to continue to participate in sports and drama. This is his first experience with dancing, although hopefully not his last!
