Five days until “Dancing like the Stars”— know the contestants

Kate Fergusson is a senior at Orono High School and is a huge fan of pugs. After watching her brother compete in Dancing like the Stars last year as a freshman, she knew she had to one-up him. Kate’s goal is to someday be able to dance to swing music as she plays it on the saxophone. She also hopes to continue dancing as she moves on to college in the fall.

Nash Allan-Rahill is tri-sport athlete and a participant of many extracurricular activities such as CISV, a peace education organization. In the fall, Nash plans to attend college and get a degree in biology or bioengineering. Though Nash doesn’t have any formal dance experience, he enjoys playing the game Just Dance and prides himself on his 5-star record on the song “Rasputin.”
